The International Appalachian Trail – Québec, in collaboration with the Québec Hiking Federation and the SÉPAQ (Société des établissements de plein air du Québec), invite you to celebrate the trail’s 10th anniversary by participating in the IAT Annual General Meeting and the 14th edition of the Québec Hiking Festival on Saturday, September 17th, 2011 in the Gaspésie National Park of Québec.
Several walking choices are proposed for a day-hike, and numerous exhibitors will be in attendance to introduce you to the Gaspé area and its attractions.
Don’t miss the drawing of the attendance prize, the conference on long-distance hiking, the hikers’ supper, and a 10th anniversary extravaganza with artists of the region.
The IAT AGM will be held on Sunday, September 18 th at the Discovery and Service Center of the Gaspésie Park. Several representatives of IAT chapters will be in attendance, including the eastern provinces of Canada, the United States, and Europe. The day will end with a gala supper at the Gîte du Mont Albert Hotel.
