In July IATNL Trail Director Arne Helgeland and Treasurer Kevin Noseworthy made a trail blazing trek to Simms Falls, the first step in the development of a southern access to Blow-Me-Down Mountain Trail. From Simms Falls the trail will wind its way through Simms Gulch, onto the top of the mountains, then north to Cape Blow-Me-Down and Blow-Me-Down Brook in the beautiful Bay of Islands.
Following the completion of Blue Brook Access Trail to the Lewis Hills, work began on this important section of trail, which provides fantastic views of the Lewis Hills, Serpentine Valley and the Blow-Me-Down Mountains.
